Good morning, friends, and happy holidays! I hope this post finds you thriving, flourishing, and enjoying the holiday season! After a wonderful, long, wonderfully long semester of teaching both high school and college classes, launching a wine label, releasing a book, and so much more I am pleased to report that I am at long last on a much-needed winter break for the next few weeks.

Before I go into total hibernation mode, however, I wanted to be sure to invite you to join me this summer in Napa. I am currently writing a book about the Judgement of Paris, the 1976 wine tasting that forever altered the world of wine (more on that in future posts), to be released from the History Press in May of 2023. As I research and write this book, I am revisiting many of the wineries that were a part of this historic event, and from June 22-25 this summer I want to invite you to join me at many of those wineries. On this trip, we’ll taste library wines, walk the vineyards, meet winemakers, eat incredible food, and take in the serene beauty of the Napa Valley.
