“The Ostentatious Parlay,” Curly St. James 2013

IMG_0565

Hi everyone,

My friend Sam Smith has helped his dad and uncle to make tremendous wine in Napa for many years. He still does that, but now he has his own label as well. It’s a terrific wine, and a compelling story, about which I wrote an article for the latest edition of Food & Spirits magazine. You can read that at the link below.  Now I’m off to the gym. Have a wonderful Friday!

Cheers,

Mark

  1. It appears I need to drink more to make room for all of these!! Comments: – I love the Midwest components to your selections. – I had the pleasure of meeting Valerie from the Kelleher family while at Brix, they were sitting at a large table directly behind us. She heard us talking and introduced herself. She is delightful! – The selections are very eclectic and insightful. Thank you Mark! May your weekend start very soon with the happy sound of a cork popping 🍷
